For this post, I refer to meaning number four: any mixture, especially of unrelated objects, subjects, etc. Specifically I will give a brief movie review and then some commentary about you, your words and your actions. If you are following this blog, you know that I am engaged in a Master Key Experience, documented under the Master Key tab. One of the exercises was to watch one of the following movies:
The common theme in all of these is that they are based on true stories. In each, the major character had four things to reach the goal:
- Definite purpose backed with a burning desire
- A definite plan with continuous action
- Mind closed to all negative input
- Mastermind group who worked in harmony to achieve the goal
In Cool Runnings (which means “Peace be the Journey”), the main character wanted desperately to compete in the Olympics as a sprinter. When an accident prevents him being able to compete in the summer Olympics, he turns to the thought of competing in the Bobsled event in the Winter Olympics. There were a few problems with that: he lived in Jamaica, he had no experience, he had no teammates, he had no coach. But he did have the desire, which led to the other elements, including a coach who worked with them to get ready in only three months. The movie is funny, but there are some excellent points in it, including a mirror exercise. Who do you see in the mirror? A great line from the movie is “If you are not enough without the Gold Medal, you won’t be enough with it.”
Do you know who you are and what you can do? You are nature’s greatest miracle and you can do whatever you want as long as it is good for you and does not take another person’s good. God is at work in you to will and to do of His good pleasure and it gives Him pleasure to give you the kingdom. The Kingdom of God is within you. Already. You just have to discover it. Read these passages and think about what they say:
13 For it is God which worketh in you both to will and to do of his good pleasure. (Philippians 2:13)
Fear not, little flock; for it is your Father’s good pleasure to give you the kingdom. (Luke 12:32)
And when he was demanded of the Pharisees, when the kingdom of God should come, he answered them and said, The kingdom of God cometh not with observation: Neither shall they say, Lo here! or, lo there! for, behold, the kingdom of God is within you. (Luke 17:20-21)
Because of that, you have unlimited potential.
Then came the disciples to Jesus apart, and said, Why could not we cast him out? And Jesus said unto them, Because of your unbelief: for verily I say unto you, If ye have faith as a grain of mustard seed, ye shall say unto this mountain, Remove hence to yonder place; and it shall remove; and nothing shall be impossible unto you. (Matthew 17:19-20)
For with God nothing shall be impossible. (Luke 1:37)Consider the power of a Mastermind alliance (two or more people in perfect harmony pursuing a worthy goal)). Jesus said: Again I say unto you, That if two of you shall agree on earth as touching any thing that they shall ask, it shall be done for them of my Father which is in heaven. (Matthew 18:19) That is pretty specific and doesn’t leave out anything. Consider the power in your words. Words clothe thoughts and give them life. For verily I say unto you, That whosoever shall say unto this mountain, Be thou removed, and be thou cast into the sea; and shall not doubt in his heart, but shall believe that those things which he saith shall come to pass; he shall have whatsoever he saith. (Mark 11:23) Note that it is not limited to the good things you say, but whatsoever you say with belief. Consider the law of giving: Give, and it shall be given unto you; good measure, pressed down, and shaken together, and running over, shall men give into your bosom. For with the same measure that ye mete withal it shall be measured to you again. (Luke 6:38) Did you ever wonder what “it” is? “it” is whatever you put forth. Put forth mercy, receive mercy. Give criticism, cynicism, envy, hatred and get all that back pressed down and running over. Judge not, and ye shall not be judged: condemn not, and ye shall not be condemned: forgive, and ye shall be forgiven (Luke 6:37). This world operates by law. That is good news. All you must do is cooperate with the law.
